Remote Deposit Capture

Need to deposit a check, but it’s just not convenient for you to swing by the credit union?  Don’t sweat it… We offer Remote Deposit through our CLFCU Mobile App!  Once you’re all set up, it’s as easy as…  Snap.  Send.  Done.


To get started before your first use:

  • Login to our app
  • Choose Deposit on the drop down menu
  • On the Feature Unavailable screen, choose “request access online now”
  • Fill out and submit the Mobile Remote Deposit Capture Application

Once you’re approved and ready to deposit a check:

  • Return to the Deposit screen on the app
  • Choose your account number from the drop down box
  • Enter the amount of the check
  • Choose Front Image, line up the front of the check on your screen making sure the full check is visible and clear, and take a photo
  • If you haven’t already, endorse the back of the check.  Endorsement MUST include all of the following components (in any order):
    • For Mobile Deposit Only
    • Community Link FCU
    • Your Signature
    • If present, put a checkmark in the Mobile Deposit box
  • Choose Back Image, line up the back of the check on your screen making sure the full check is visible and clear, and take a photo
  • Submit This Deposit

Remote Deposit Endorsement

During regular business days, if all of the criteria are met and your deposit is accepted, you will see the deposit in your account by 4:30pm (cut-off time for same-day deposits is 4:00pm).  At this time, there may be up to a 5 day hold on all mobile deposits.  See the CLFCU Remote Deposit Capture Terms for full details.

If, for any reason, your mobile deposit is rejected, you will receive a notification.  You may also receive a phone call from the credit union, if necessary.

Remote Deposit Capture (RDC)/Mobile Deposit is only available via the CLFCU Mobile App.  CLFCU has the right to revoke this service at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
